FAQ

Find answers to your questions about Yoga-Go.

What level is this program designed for? Is it good for beginners?

Yes, all Yoga-Go Pilates programs are designed for beginners. All sessions start with the basics and take stiffness or mobility limitations into account. Each program builds gradually, so you can progress at a pace that's still comfortable for your level. If you want more of a challenge, there's the Pilates with equipment program.

Do I need to buy equipment before starting the program?

Classic Home Pilates uses just your bodyweight, so you can use a yoga mat if you like. Pilates with equipment uses light equipment such as resistance bands, a ball, a roller, and a Pilates ring.

Is this program okay if I have limited mobility or stiffness?

Pilates is low-impact and every movement can be adapted to your range of motion, which makes it perfect for stiffness or limited mobility. If you have a specific condition, it's worth checking with your doctor before starting.

Is Pilates at home actually effective?

Yes. The same core-strengthening, posture-improving movements you'd do in a studio work just as well at home. What matters most is consistency, not the room you're doing it in.

Can Pilates at home help with weight loss?

Pilates builds strength, tone, and muscle, which can support weight management as part of an overall healthy routine, but it's not a high-calorie-burning workout on its own. It's best thought of as a way to build a stronger, more toned body rather than a weight-loss shortcut.
